It Was Just A Sport

Lyle understood the gravity of what he was giving up, but he also shared, “It’s just a sport. Just because it’s Division 1 college level doesn’t make it any more important. Life is a lot more important than that, so it was pretty easy.”

Telling His Mom

According to Lyle’s mom, Chris Sciacca, she shared, “My son and I have a pretty funny rapport together so when he tells me a thing, it’s usually in humor. He simply sent me a text that said, ‘So I guess I have a chance to save someone’s life.”
