U.S. Helicopters Taking off
On September 23, 1967 in Phuoc Vinh, South Vietnam, image shows U.S. helicopters in formation lift off as they go out on a search and destroy mission. American bombers, Navy ships and artillery outposts carried the big blitz against North Vietnamese armies on a desperate attempt to knock out the U.S. anti-infiltration barriers.
