Every Decision Was Important
Lea and Mike understood the gravity of their situation. In fact, Lea had even talked about what they needed to consider if one parent actually died. She shared, “What will make it easier to transition from a two-parent to one-parent household? It’s why we sold our condo and bought a house in the suburbs. It’s why we got the really good life insurance. It’s why I finished my degree. It’s why we’ve done nearly everything in our lives.”
