Lea Couldn’t Go On Birth Control
Because of one of Lea’s existing medical conditions, she wasn’t allowed by her doctors to take birth control pills. One of her other options was the use of an IUD, or an intrauterine device that’s inserted into the uterus to stop pregnancy. Unfortunately, Lea was allergic to copper, which is what the IUD is made of, so it also made it impossible for her to get one.
