Lea decided to share her story with others ‘because of the misconceptions about abortion and to show that pregnancy is not always a good thing.’ Yet their thoughts were not shared by most, in fact, many couldn’t understand her and her husband’s reasoning behind their decision to have an abortion if they were pregnant at all. And despite all the negativity they received, she said, “I have a thick skin,” and she and her husband stuck to their decision.
