Joining An Experimental Trial

Despite hearing that Mike would possibly have just a few weeks, or months if lucky, to live, they began planning out their time together. Knowing that this was a form of terminal cancer, Mike decided to join an experimental trial, since he didn’t have anything else to lose. Amazingly, things actually worked out for him, and nine months into the trial, Mike was actually doing quite well.
