Getting Pregnant With Twins

In the year 2009, not only was their IVF successful, they would get pregnant and their twin girls were born exactly 18 months after Mike had been diagnosed with cancer. Then during Lea’s pregnancy with the twins, she noticed a mole on her skin and decided to have it tested. In an unbelievable twist of events, the mole would turn out to be ‘basal cell carcinoma, a form of skin cancer.’ Apparently women who fall pregnant can be more susceptible to melanoma, only because this particular illness tends to happen ‘during a woman’s ‘child-bearing years.’
