Known As ‘Hippie’

Melissa was actually known to many as ‘Hippie.’ And whether this was a prelude to her addiction problems isn’t known, her demons would eventually cause her major problems in her life. Although it doesn’t say exactly what she was addicted to, her dependence to it was something that she would attempt to fix later on.

Incarcerated

When her daughter was around 4-years old, Melissa was caught by the police for two felonies. She went to trial and eventually had to serve more than 2 years in jail, from March 2014 to September 2016, after ‘pleading guilty to possession of a controlled substance and forgery.’ Unfortunately for Melissa, this caused her to lose custody of her young daughter to her husband Benjamin.
