Benjamin Woke Up

Whether her dad had heard her on the phone or not, Benjamin suddenly woke up. His daughter said that the mom’s friend just called and told her that he was going to their house. This was when her dad supposedly began to act even more “suspicious.” He started going around the house locking doors, closing blinds, telling her not to open the door, and stranger yet, ‘to stay out of the basement.’ Good thing she didn’t tell her father that she had already come from downstairs.

Waiting Until The Next Day

Whether Melissa’s male friend ever made it over to her house or not, no one knows, but it wouldn’t be until the next day that the 7-year old would tell school counselors about what she saw the night before inside her basement. Alarmed, the school called the authorities and told them what the child had said she saw in her house.
