Killing Herself

Brynn’s sister, who lived in Wisconsin, would share that she received a phone call from Brynn just a few moments before she committed suicide. She told her, “Tell the children that I love them.” She then took the same gun she used to kill her husband to kill herself. She got into bed beside her dead husband, stuck the gun in her mouth and pulled the trigger. Appallingly, the children were orphaned in a span of a few hours, and life was never going to be the same for them ever again.

Investigating The Scene

When the police arrived on the scene, the first thing they did was locate the children and bring them to safety. They were able to get 9-year old Sean out of the house first, followed by 6-year old Birgen. Police shared how the self-inflicted gunshot that killed Brynn was heard as they were bringing Birgen out to safety.
