Leaving For America

Only four days after Dan got the award, Brecon and his parents were on their way to America. The surgery was going to take place at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri, and they were more than ready to finally go through with the surgery and have their beloved boy walking on his own.

The Procedures Were Successful

It was more complicated than it seemed, but although Brecon needed two surgeries to fix his issues, not only did he make it through them, they were successful too. Ann shared, “[But] we saw the change him straight away after his operation. He had more control on his walker and even though he was learning how to walk from scratch you could see his whole posture had changed – he was a lot straighter.”
