Needing Help For Everything
Dan had dreamt of joining the army when he got older, but after the collision, he was now stuck in a wheelchair, requiring continuous care. He shared, “I was the same as everybody and a typical guy in my early twenties. [Now] I can’t even tie my own shoelaces. I’m depressed and angry about what has happened I feel like I have been denied a life.”

But once the anger was over, this didn’t stop Dan from attempting to make his life better as he slowly recovered. He began to look into different forms of treatments to see what exactly he could do to turn his tragedy into something else.
