Not About Him

During Howard’s first few days in the hospital, he didn’t even know the exact events that had taken place in order to keep him alive. But when he found out, he was unbelievably grateful to the men and women who spent over an hour attempting to keep him alive. Howard would even go on to say, “I don’t think the story’s about me. It’s about the guys in Goodhue and Mayo One.”

Honoring Those That Helped Him

Howard added, “My end of this bargain is to honor the guys who did this for me.” And after everything that had gone on that day, and the miracle that took place in keeping Howard alive, the amazing men and woman deserve nothing less than the acknowledgment that they received. After all, Howard owes his life to them.
