People Started Arriving To Help

In an incredible display of generosity and kindness, volunteers began arriving from all over. Firefighters from nearby towns like Red Wing and Zumbrota began showing up in troves. And they were all ready to do what they could to help rescue the dying man.

Volunteers Lining Up

Given that CPR can take a lot out of a person, Al needed others to help him out, so that’s exactly what they did. Those that arrived formed a line, one behind the other, and waited for their turn to perform CPR in order to do what they could to make sure Howard survived while waiting for the paramedics. But given that time was not on on their side, chances were beginning to look slim.
