The Mayo Clinic Helicopter

The Mayo Clinic’s helicopter was 35-miles away from Goodhue in Rochester, Minnesota. They even said that if his heart attack had happened much earlier in the day, the helicopter may not have even been dispatched at all because of the weather. Thankfully, this wasn’t the case that afternoon.

Arriving On The Scene

Finally, the helicopter arrived. One of the crew members, Bruce Goodman, even shared, “If he had collapsed earlier in the day, we might not have been able to get to him.” And when he and Mary Svoboda, another member on the helicopter, arrived at the scene, they couldn’t believe what they saw.
