Awaiting Trial

Steven McDowell has been charged with murder, and is currently in jail with a $500,000 bond. When he arrived in court, looking very mournful and sad, his appearance was so very different from his former photos with his ex-wife and children. According to Sherriff Hawthorne, “He is a little emotional, but he said very little. He has been 100% cooperative.”

What About The Children?

According to Steven’s neighbor Doris Bell, “He was a great father. He had the kids all the time.” But sadly now, the children have lost both parents since Crystal’s death and Steven’s jailing. Although placed with Child Protective services, their son and daughter will eventually be placed with their late mother’s relatives.
