He also shared with CBS News that he found it strange that Crystal hadn’t mentioned to him that she was planning on going to Dallas to take shelter from the storm when she knew that he was. In fact, he was skeptical of Steven’s explanation and didn’t quite believe him.

In fact, her uncle goes on to say, “[Steve McDowell] showed me a message on his phone where she said she was going to get the kids and go to Dallas. I have reservations about believing that she sent that message… I have strong feelings about what’s happened but I’d rather not voice them right now.”
