Making Plans To Deal With Hurricane Harvey

When the threat of Hurricane Harvey was announced on the news, and was set to hit Texas, Crystal purportedly made plans to evacuate the area. She was living in Baytown, which is approximately 30 miles away from Houston. She had decided that she was going to pick up her kids from Steven’s house, and head elsewhere to wait out the Category 3 storm. The concern for everyone’s safety had people scrambling to decide where to take shelter from the upcoming ferocious storm.

Supposedly Sending A Message To Steven

The hurricane was set to hit on August 26, so on the day before, according to details from her uncle, Jeff Walters, he shared what Steven had told him. “He said she had sent him a message saying she was coming to pick up the kids to go to Dallas, but she didn’t show. We aren’t sure she sent those message[s] to him, though. She never told me of plans to go to Dallas for the storm.”
