Dale was immediately informed. He said he didn’t know what to tell his children. They just lost their mother and he was at a loss for words. Jennifer Voxakis was also in tears. The Autopsy

Stephanie’s body was immediately brought in for investigation. They discovered how she was brutally murdered: she was hit over the head until her skull cracked and she was strangled until her neck broke. She must have still been alive when she was thrown into the lake, but she was left to die of hypothermia.
