The Lover’s Side

Cops interviewed Ron and his wife as well. They discovered that while Stephanie was in love with Ron, he, on the other hand, had no plans of leaving his current wife. Despite what he said in the letters he wrote the missing mother, he wanted to fix his marriage. He told her that he needed to take a step back to make his relationship better.

Stephanie’s Reaction

Of course, the cops discovered after the interview that Stephanie didn’t take it all too well. Her hopes of being with her true love were destroyed. And before she took a walk out into the blizzard, she actually wrote Ron a long letter saying that she still loved him. However, the trail went cold after that incident.
