Each of the 43 Mongolian gers in the Gobi Discovery II Ger Camp comes with two to four beds and a heated tent. Overall, it welcomes up to 100 guests who can use electricity for a limited time every day. SmithsonianJourneys.org says the camp is well-equipped with communal toilets and showers, as well as a restaurant that serves Asian and European cuisine. Located 720 kilometers from Ulaanbaatar, the camp offers tourists a closer look into traditional Mongolian living.

The Gobi Discovery II Ger Camp, located in the Gobi Gurvansaikhan National Park in Mongolia, promises a wide range of adventure tours, rides, and festivals, as well as an opportunity to get to know the locals in the area. MongoliaTrip.com says that a trip to the ger camps is all about immersion in the Mongolian way of life that has remained authentic despite the swift changes that are now evident in many cultures because of modernization.
