A Robbery Or A Botched Rape Attempt?

They decided that they needed to start looking further into different cases in other towns. Two of the rapes had occurred 25 miles apart, which meant that the criminal wasn’t opposed to moving around to get the deed done. One case, which had been originally labeled a robbery, sounded a lot like their guy, it just hadn’t gone as he planned. It began much like how the others had gone down, except this particular victim was able to get away. Before he could fully restrain her, she jumped out of her window falling 7-feet to the ground. She broke quite a number of bones, but she was able to get away with her life.

So Many Similarities

When Detectives Galbraith and Hendershot opened the case once more, they found that now there were specific clues that matched the other rape cases. There were honeycomb marks on the window, marks that were the same as what had been found in the Westminster case, and that wasn’t the only thing that was the same. The footprint retrieved from the ‘burglary’ case using the Adidas ZX 700 shoes that matched the print, also matched that of the rape that had occurred in the town of Golden. The similarities between the cases were so unbelievably eerie, they just knew it was all the same guy.
