11. Do You Really Have To Turn Your Electronic Devices Off?
This particular topic is still up for discussion. Where some pilots claim that there is truly a possibility that electronic devices cause interference with the flight, others say that they don’t even bother to turn off their phones. So how come some flight crew leave their devices turned on, but all the passengers need to turn off theirs? The difference is, what’s one or two phones left on compared to hundreds? Basically, most airlines just don’t want to take a chance and would prefer to err on the side of caution with this one.
