Lots of people complain about how crappy airplane food is. Regardless of whether you’re in First Class, Business Class or Economy, the food cannot be compared to anything you will find in a restaurant on land. But apparently, you can’t blame the food companies that make the almost bento-like trays. Apparently, when you’re 30,000 feet up in the air, it’s said that the humidity goes below 12%, causing everything to dry out, not just your skin. Even the food, and your taste buds, can change during the flight. So the next time you decide to complain about the crappy meal you’re about to eat, try drinking a glass of water first. It may just help make it a little more palatable. Or sprinkle some salt on it, that’s what those tiny packets are for anyway.
