33. Airplane Tragedy N6 
Japan Airlines Flight 123 was a scheduled domestic Japan Airlines passenger flight from Tokyo’s Haneda Airport to Osaka International Airport, Japan. The craft crashed because of an explosion caused by a faulty repair performed seven years earlier. This picture was taken inside the cabin 32 minutes before the tragedy struck and later recovered from the crash site. 509 people were killed and 4 survived.
34. World Trade Center
September 11, 2001 was the day of a tragedy that took the lives of 2,996 people. This photo was taken at 9:03 am as the United Airlines Flight 175 crashed the South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York City.
