This family was heading for a vacation. They seem happy and expecting to have a nice time. It was that a moment after this picture was taken, airplane MH17, was shot down over Ukraine killing everyone aboard. According to reports, people remained conscious during the 3-4 minute fall from 33,000 feet.

In this photo, Russian stuntman Pavel Kashin, performs his last trick – a backflip on a 16-storey drop. Seconds after this picture was taken, Kashin failed his landing and fell to the ground causing his death.
