Gramercy
Just to the east side of the Flatiron District lies Gramercy, one of New York’s more elegant and uptown areas known to be home to many of the city’s elite. It is also home to Gramercy Park, an exclusively owned piece of land that no one is allowed to step foot in, except of course those that own it and on Christmas Eve, when it’s opened to the public for a very short amount of time. But just around the park are tons of restaurants, pubs and clubs for both locals and tourists to enjoy, even just to enjoy an afternoon stroll.
