Brooklyn Heights is not in Manhattan, but it definitely has the best views of the city that you will see, especially at night. If you get a chance to head to this part of town, be sure to go to The Promenade to get the best view of the entire Manhattan skyline. You can even walk the Brooklyn Bridge to get to this area and see hundreds of pre-Civil War houses that have been around for hundreds of years.
