Grieving Father

Lizette’s bereaved father, Ray Cuesta, could only imagine the pain his daughter had gone through. Though, he is glad that the people who did this to her are behind bars. He looked back at how vibrant and happy his daughter was. She was the one who urged everyone to eat healthy and to take care of their bodies. She was a strong person who was a go-getter through and through.

Strong Until the End

Ray says that his daughter has always been strong, and she remained resilient until her dying breath. For him, the fact that she was able to name her killers was a testament to how much of a survivor she really was. Others would have given up but Lizette crawled through the woods in order to get help and share her story.
