Barbie is really America’s most favorite of all its dolls, and really, she’s popular everywhere. So when Australian jewelry designer, Stefano Canturi, decided to sell her wearing one of his beautiful creations, people couldn’t believe what kind of money she fetched. Considering she was wearing a gorgeous black evening gown paired with a choker necklace containing a square-cut, one-carat pink diamond surrounded by other tiny diamonds, she sold for $302,500, making it the most money anyone has spent on a Barbie ever. If it makes you feel any better, the proceeds from her sale went straight to breast cancer research, thankfully.

Gold Rocking Horse, $600,000

A rocking horse is the epitome of the perfect childhood toy. But of course leave it to the Japanese to create one so wild that people everywhere couldn’t believe the kind of price tag that came along with it. Japanese jewelry designer, Ginza Tanaka, decided to make one in 24-karat gold for Prince Hisahito born in 2016 worth $600,000. And incredibly, another one was sold for the same price, bought by none other than rapper Jay-Z and wife Beyoncé for their precious daughter, Blue Ivy.
