The Sapphire-Eyed Teddy Bear, $84,000

The Teddy Bear was actually named after US President Theodore Roosevelt, after he had refused to shoot a black bear that was tied to a tree because it was unsportsmanlike. Then a toy was created in honor of the president and named ‘Teddy’s Bear,’ delighting children everywhere, and as the saying goes, the rest is history. This particular furry friend was made by German toy company, Steiff, to celebrate its 125th year in the industry. Only 125 pieces were made with sapphire eyes, a solid gold mouth and real gold-thread fur, which is why it also costs $84,000 a piece.

Darth Vader War Helmet, $115,000

Once again, Star Wars in all its glory has another ‘toy’ on the top of the most expensive list. This particular piece is the war helmet that was used in both ‘Star Wars’ and the ‘Empire Strikes Back’ movies, making it almost invaluable.
