The Rubik’s Cube is one of the most iconic 80s toys ever created. Kids everywhere would spend hours perfecting the art of matching the six sides of this puzzle cube to all the matching colors, and trying to do it in record time, too. Fred Cueller, an expert diamond cutter, decided to create his own version for the 15th year anniversary of Rubik’s Cube in 1995, using 18-carat gold and 34 carats each of rubies and emeralds, and another 22.5-carats of amethysts, leaving it with a price tag of $1.5 million. But even crazier than that? It actually works.

Once again, Monopoly is one of the games at the top of the list of the most coveted toys. This particular version of the beloved board game is made with gold, diamonds, sapphires and rubies. It actually took San Francisco jewelry designer, Sidney Mobell, an entire year to finish it, and it now sits in the Smithsonian Museum garnering a price of $2 million dollars.
