Maurice Sendak’s beloved book, “Where The Wild Things Are,” is a favorite of both kids and adults alike. Released as far back as 1963, its popularity still has it topping the charts of bestseller’s lists everywhere. Although it was at an extraordinary price, a first edition of the book signed by none other than Sendak himself, sold for $25,000 in 2012.

The cult favorite movie series, Star Wars, has had a number of toys created because of it since its debut back in 1977. But while there have been a huge amount of figurines created throughout the franchise, this Luke Skywalker figurine only had 20 of them still unused and in the box, sold for $25,000 at infamous auction house Sotheby’s nonetheless.
