TRAVELING BACK IN TIME

Before anyone can really understand the pain Anne’s family and their friends went through, he or she might have to travel down the historical road first. But be forewarned that this isn’t an easy trip. It’s riddled with pain, resentment, and shame. What had happened in Germany and its neighboring countries is not something that too many people are proud of. Because of Adolf Hitler and his minions of Nazis, the swastika has become a badge of disgrace.

WHO WAS ANNE

Anne Frank was a little girl who was born in Frankfurt. Her parents, Otto and Edith, and older sister, Margot, were forced to leave the town they were in with the increasing anti-Semitic attitude that was spreading amongst the Germans. Adolf Hitler was the very man who led this uprising, and unfortunately, he had many followers. As everyone knows, the Frank family didn’t find their happy ending, but what exactly did they have to endure?
