Resigned to Where He Is

Art knows that he will live out the rest of his life behind bars. He craves for forgiveness, especially from those he has hurt. Although he has resigned to the fact that he will never be a free man, he continues to talk about his experiences to those who may still have hope for a better future. And while some people question his sincerity, he refuses to sum out the rest of his life with his worst act.

Undoing Deeds

“I can never undo deeds done, but I am trying to make myself into a decent, good person,” Seale says. “I think there is a point, which I have reached, where I am no longer the person who committed that crime. I certainly think and act differently now.”
