Change of Plans

Reso was already on his way to work in Morris. He recently had a heart attack and was on blood thinners to make sure that it wouldn’t happen again. He was careful, but when he went to his car to head off to work, he never made it past his driveway. His car was left running while he was bound and gagged inside another car.

Body Discovered

Reso’s decomposing body was unearthed two months after he was kidnapped. He was buried in a shallow grave in a state forest in southern New Jersey. The Exxon executive had died, but not because he was murdered. It appeared as if he was shot in the arm when he struggled, but the coroner said that he might have passed from a heart attack, a condition that he had suffered from previously.
