Just like his brother Logan, Jake has his share of brushes with controversy. In July 2017, after making his Beverly Hills home address public, residents of Beverly Grove sought to file a class-action suit on him for public nuisance. His stunt caused hundreds of fans of his to camp outside his house, causing much noise and disturbance to the neighborhood. He was sued by the leasing company that owned the house for $2.5 million that year.

Merchandising

Despite his notoriety, Jake Paul still managed to rake-in a decent amount of money this year, thanks to his multitude of subscribers who buy from his very successful merchandise business. This, combined with advertising income generated by his 3.5 billion video views on YouTube between June 2017 and June 2018 has landed him in second place on the Forbes Highest-paid YouTube Stars list with a staggering $21.5 million paycheck.
