Not one to mince words, Markiplier’s videos contain vulgar language with a lot of yelling, screaming, and in at least one, crying. The channel also features vlogs where he reaches out to his millions of watchers, talking about many things with most being inspirational. His high-visibility in conventions and other events have made him very popular, even doing live-streams to raise funds and awareness for various charities.

Although Fischbach’s fame came from his YouTube channel, he is one who chooses not to be tied-down to one platform. In 2014, he collaborated with Red Giant Entertainment, a comic book outfit, and announced that a line of comics with him as a character is in the works. Other ventures include voice acting gigs, providing vocals for Starbomb’s song, “Smash!”. He also voiced a character in Cartoon Network’s, Villainous. Between 2017 and 2018, Markiplier, together with other YouTubers, went on an improve tour across 3 contintents, North America, Europe, and Australia.
