This kids’ YouTube Channel is 2018’s most successful in terms of revenue generated. It rose the ranks from last year’s Forbes Highest-paid YouTube Stars list, moving up 6 spots to where it sits today. The toy review channel is hosted by 8-year-old Ryan with the help of his very supportive family who appear fairly often in the videos.

How it started

In March 2015, Ryan, then a 5-year-old boy asked his mom why he wasn’t doing what the other kids are doing on YouTube, referring to other toy-review channels such as EvanTubeHD. This got her to think and eventually led her to give up her job as a teacher and go all-out on Ryan’s channel. The move proved to be a good decision and by 2017, she and her husband inked an agreement with pocket.watch, a children’s media outfit who would do the marketing and merchandising for Ryan ToysReview.
