Don’t Stick Your Chopsticks Upright
Do not place your chopsticks upright in your bowl after you finish eating. Or in case you pause eating for a while and there is still rice in the bowl, don’t stick it in there as it will cause it to appear upright and resemble an incense at a funeral. To be safe, just lay them over the lip of the bowl.
