Don’t Give A Firm Handshake

You may be used to giving a firm handshake elsewhere to make a good first impression when introduced but this is something to be avoided in Korea. The way to go about it politely is to take the extended hand with both hands using a loose grip with one or two soft pumps. If shaking with both hands is not possible for whatever reason, make sure that your other hand is not in your pocket as this is considered very rude and embarrassing for you.
