Don’t Keep It Right Away
When exchanging business cards in a meeting, don’t keep the other person’s business card right away by putting it in your pocket or wallet as the card is a representation of that person and should be treated with respect. As always, receive it using both hands and spend a few moments to read it and let this effort be shown. Don’t put any marks on it as well, at least in front of that person.
