Chances are you will encounter beach vendors in popular beaches, offering practically anything and everything from jet-ski rentals to party drugs and weed. First of all, water sports are not regulated in the Bahamas so some rental equipment may not be in good working condition. Vendors also do not have proper knowledge or training to rescue you should something go wrong. As far as they are concerned, you are on your own. Marijuana is illegal, as well as any party drugs.
