Underestimate Water Dangers

Like any island paradise, the Bahamas have water dangers you should be aware of. Do not think all is good. Many popular beaches have strong water currents and rip currents. Even the best olympic swimmer cannot challenge these currents. Be aware of your surroundings. Red flags means no swimming at all. Resorts have marked areas, do not cross beyond them.
