Just Stay In New Providence Island

Even though this island is home to the capital, Nassau, it is not the best place to visit. It has its beaches, as beach areas abound in the archipelago, sadly, it’s the criminal activity which has spiked in recent years, particularly muggings and rapes. Most travel advisories list New Providence Island as a threat to tourists. Stay in the Out Islands to be safe.
