26. Don’t Be Rude to The Staff

Another thing to remember: calling out loud, raising your hand or whistling to get a waiter’s attention is considered rude in the UK. The proper way to do so is by making eye contact and gesturing subtly that you need assistance with something. Leaving a tip, although not required, is also good practice. Not doing so might be considered rude, so leave at least 10% of the bill for the staff.
