30. Don’t Forget to Ask If You Should Remove Your Shoes Before Entering Somebody’s Home
Some British households might require you to remove your shoes before entering, so always ask the owner of the house if you should. Many of us aren’t used to this custom, but since we’re the ones visiting, we should do as the locals do. Not all homes ask you to leave your shoes out but it helps to ask first to avoid disrespecting your host.
