27. Don’t Ignore the Small Talk
The British love small talk, using it as a way to break the ice when meeting new people, particularly before discussing business. Keep it natural and cordial, like a warm up before the real game. Mind you though, that the British are pretty sharp and don’t like BS, so keep it real, factual and non-patronizing.
