Bother To Tip
Unlike many other countries around the world, tipping is actually not customary in Ireland. But if you do decide to tip, it is appreciated, but not necessary. Some people still tip in hotels and even cabs, but one place where you shouldn’t even bother is in a pub. If you want to insist on some form of gratuity, just tell the bartender “have one for yourself,” which they will understand as your way of tipping.
