Don’t Take Smiling Selfies In Auschwitz
When in Poland, tourists normally go to visit Auschwitz, one of the worst concentration camps used by Hitler and the Nazis to kill millions of Jews. It’s understandable why people would want to visit to remember the horrors of the past as to educate themselves and make sure that history never repeats itself. But what’s not okay is to take smiling selfies there to post all over your social media for the world to see, especially after hearing and seeing stories about the infinite and ghastly horrors that went on there during World War II. It is definitely not a place to smile about, or ever even smirk about for that matter.
